I felt a funeral in my brain 

And I thought I died 

But it was all in my brain 

And when the guest all leave 

I watch spring turn to summer

And summer turn to falling leaves 

Until I hear a voice calling me

Whispering …

“Believe!”

We are mortal souls to a dying earth we are the dust of Adam’s curse

The gift of our beings becoming as one from night til sun

Its the same hex to bring you down under forever

but won’t you be mine in this life time and never say never

because the moment I gazed upon you, you gained eternity touching my soul with your body

we made the most pleasant poetry you were underneath when I owned your vulnerability

you locked lips with a poet

who sings of broken hearts 

but I loved you from the start

so love must also be at the end

Can’t be honest but love is a friend

we lovers sit more afar

then the midnight stars

judging & looking for perfection hiding from the light some are headed in the wrong direction 

no clue of the hearts erection 

turn around …. slow down 

get a little high 

cause love brings you to the ground protect your soul it’s on fire 

so you gotta stop drop and roll 

have we souls to set free? 

Lips to sing … eyes to see 

love let’s the sun sleep 

love gives the midnight skies something to keep 

lips to kiss hearts to miss
